THOR Gold Parts

The Standard Pier Kit uses 4 high grade galvanized J-bolts to mount the main pole to the concrete. It is usually used when moving a system and installing a new base. Rebar for the installation is not included, but you can pick it up at your local hardware store.

Fits: THOR Silver (formerly Pro Dunk Silver), THOR Gold (formerly Pro Dunk Gold) and THOR Platinum (formerly Pro Dunk Platinum), the older Pro Dunk Bronze, plus HERCULES Gold and HERCULES Platinum. It does NOT work with the THOR Diamond (formerly Pro Dunk Diamond), HERCULES Diamond or APOLLO.

This backboard is designed for the THOR Gold (formerly Pro Dunk Gold) basketball system and measures 60 Inch wide by 36 Inch height with 1/2 Inch tempered glass. Please note this does not include the H-bracket mounted to the back of the backboard or the black backboard padding along the bottom and up the sides.

• [8] H-Bracket hardware to attach the aluminum frame to the black steel H-bracket

This part replaces the white plastic or black cord that attaches the net to the rim. Note that this cord is NOT coupled, but it does include a metal crimp several inches from the end that functions as a stop. Watch a video on how to replace the net tie.

Version Notes: Older rims that have curly "rim horns" do not need this part. Secondly, this replacement part may not look exactly like your original.

Heavy-duty nylon white net designed for outdoor use. This does not include the net tie. If your rim uses a net tie to hold the net on we recommend checking it to make sure you do not also need a replacement net tie. Video: Watch a video on how to replace the net

6x6 Inch gusset padding is used on the THOR Gold (formerly Pro Dunk Gold), Hercules Platinum and Hercules Gold main pole and covers the base of the main pole for safety. This does not include the pole padding that covers the majority of the main pole.

Version Notes: The 6x6 Black Gusset Padding is designed for the THOR Gold, Hercules Platinum and Hercules Gold that has a 6x6 main pole. Older THOR Gold systems might use 5x5 Gusset Padding. You can find it on the THOR Silver (formerly Pro Dunk Silver) parts page.

6x6 Inch pole padding is used on the THOR Gold (formerly Pro Dunk Gold), Hercules Platinum and Hercules Gold main pole and covers the bottom 2/3 of the main pole for safety.

60 Inch backboard padding can be mounted on any of our 60 Inch by 36 or 38 Inch backboards. This padding is a foam coated with a latex coating to resist the elements. It covers the edge of the bottom third of the backboard.

The small Lightning Adjust actuator lets you raise and lower your system with a cordless drill or by hand with the manual crank. It includes the cylinder, gear box, manual crank handle and drill holster, and it fixes just about any height adjustment problem. Swapping out a standard hand crank actuator takes about 10 minutes.

Any name brand 18 to 24 volt battery powered drill can be used with Lightning Adjust. If you don't have a drill, one is available in the parts section. If you've misplaced the manual crank handle, it is also sold separately.

Fits: THOR Gold (formerly Pro Dunk Gold), THOR Silver (formerly Pro Dunk Silver), and all BEAR models (Silver, Gold and Platinum). On the BEAR it replaces the original Bear Actuator, which we no longer carry.

BEAR owners: the manual hand crank is guaranteed to work on every BEAR model. Most drills don't have enough torque to raise a BEAR, especially the BEAR Platinum. If your drill does work, feel free to use it. Never use a corded (A/C powered) drill or an impact drill of any kind.

Name brand drill perfect for powering Lightning Adjust. This 18v to 24v drill includes a battery and charger.

A replacement or spare drill bit adapter for the Lightning Adjust actuator. It connects your drill to the Lightning Adjust and is the part to order if your original adapter has been misplaced.

Fits: the Lightning Adjust Large and Lightning Adjust Small on any THOR or BEAR system. It does NOT work on standard actuators that have a permanently attached adjustment handle.

BEAR owners: your drill may not be strong enough to raise a BEAR with the drill feature, especially the BEAR Platinum. The manual hand crank will always work.

The height meter and sticker are used to measure the height of the system at any given time.

This kit includes 8 stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers used to mount the H-bracket to the aluminum frame on the backboard. 4 are used on the top and 4 are used on the bottom securing it in the center of the backboard.

This safety pin is designed for a 6x6 main pole used on the THOR Gold (formerly Pro Dunk Gold). The safety pin will restrict the height of the basketball system for safety reasons.
