Pro Dunk Gold Basketball in Lugoff, South Carolina

Tony from Lugoff, South Carolina did his own Pro Dunk Gold Basketball System easy-installation on the side of his asphalt concrete driveway. It is assembled in the front yard of his residence. The playing area is 30 feet wide and 35 feet deep.

There is an angled side shot of the hoop.

There is a back side view of a Pro Dunk Gold Basketball System that sits nicely next to his asphalt concrete driveway.

At the bottom of the post you can see the plated description of this model.

There is a close up of the U-crank adjustment mechanism.

His do-it-yourself installation is that simple by watching a Pro Dunk Hoop's installation video.

His construction of the system is almost done. It is time to assemble his basketball post, backboard and basket together.

There is a back view of the goal.

Review My high expectations were met !!!

OK .......................... 1- are you looking for something that will add value to your home and blend well with about anything? Then this is it! Being a homeowner and wanting something that would not be an eyesore for me or my neighbors, I searched the web over trying to locate the "perfect" match and when I came across this one, I thought "this just may be it". Well, I wasn't disappointed one bit once it was installed and finished. It truly looks great! 2- I honestly do not know exactly what a commercial or professional goal would entail, but would like to think I have a decent idea. This goal is plenty "beefy" for what our family does and actually outperforms my expectations! It is solid and H_E_A_V_Y !!!!! 3- Assembly wasn't bad at all, but then again, I am very handy. I would say digging the hole and filling with concrete was the worst part. And knowing the equipment was very heavy, I did not skimp on this item. The hole was dug 4 feet deep, slightly belled at the bottom portion, and was 20 inches square. It took 27 eighty pound bags of concrete to fill (2,160 pounds). The post is now rock solid and isn't going anywhere! I did everything by myself except for mounting the backboard and actually devised a method that allowed only me and my wife to complete this task. This is definitely a doable job for the handy! 4- Overall, we are all happy; especially the wife. I did pay for the additional rust proofing and I’m so glad I did. I feel it will pay for itself in the long run. I don’t have any regrets about this purchase.
