There might have been limitations when building this court but In this case, at 22 feet deep, I can see why the the decision to use the Silver was made as they were looking for a shorter three foot extension arm. The shame here is that at 40 feet wide, they really could have benefited from a wider backboard getting more bank shots in. The other option would have been to go with the Gold and Platinum but pull the pole off the court another foot effectively giving you the same amount of room at the top of the key while gaining the width that you're looking for on the backboard.
