The relatively shallow playing area (20 feet) prompted Josh to set the pole off a bit giving him more room in front of the backboard to take shots.
This limits the area underneath the basket but making it concrete from the driveway to the pole will help keep basketballs bouncing instead of falling dead in the dirt.
