What do you mean in-ground

Installation is done in two steps. In the first step you dig a hole, 20 inches square, 3 feet deep. You'll insert rebar and fill the hole with 15-20 80lbs. bags of premix concrete available at your local hardware store. You'll set the included "pier kit" into the concrete which consists of four J-bolts and a template to get the bolts into the correct hole pattern. You'll let the concrete pier cure for 2-5 days. At that point you'll begin assembly which takes two to three people and about two hours. A few nice features of the pier J-bolt in-ground installation is that it allows you to level the system frontwards, backwards, left and right even after the concrete has cured ensuring a level basketball system. The holes in the base are slotted allowing you to square the system after the concrete has cured as well. Lastly, if you ever move and want to take your system with you you can simply unbolt it, install a new pier in the new location and move it over.
